Our workshops offer inspiration, in a non-threatening learning environment with lots of laughter while learning to work in a new medium.  Our workshops are hands-on, fun and taught by skilled master artists.  No previous experience required which makes our workshops perfect for all ages.  During the workshop you will learn a new skills that will enable you create independently at home. All workshops must be paid in advance and are nonrefundable.  Workshops are perfect for a group activities with girlfriends, sisters, or mother and child. 

 


Leaf Casting Workshop

Spring 2010

Learn the basic of leaf casting by making leaf castings for plaques, swags or votive candle holders for the garden or home.  Bring along leaves from your garden or make selections from ours.


Mosaic Stepping Stone

Spring 2010

Learn the basics of mosaics in this fun creative class.  Bring broken plates, pottery, coins, marbles, and other trinkets to embellish your stepping stone.  Three dimensional items can also be used for a plaque - think figurines, teapots, etc.  One hour class.  Wear comfortable clothing (you will get messy) and bring leather gloves to protect your hands from sharp edges.


Terrarium Building Workshop

SPRING 2010

Have you been bitten by the terrarium bug yet?  The fascination started in the 70's and continues on with great glassware and new varieties of plants.  Bring in your favorite glass container (must have a close fitting lid) or choose from our selection of containers.  Plants will be provided for the workshop.  


Hypertufa Workshop

Spring 2010

Hypertufa is a lightweight, looks like concrete, has the durability of conventional concrete containers which makes it perfect for the garden.  We will be making platters with leaf patterns embedded inside or bowls. This is a great workshop to learn the basics of hypertufa.
